We started the day by going to a market. Because it is Sunday and more important because there are only three weeks before TET (The Vietnamese New Year), the market was more crowded than usual. We wouldn't have known except for the explanation by Hanh. The market reminded me of many other markets we have seen in many other countries. Certainly lots of differences but also a LOT of similarities. There were all categories of offereings - clothing, toys, household goods and of course LOTS of food. The food items always intrigue me and the result is I have quite a number of pictures of the food stalls.
When we left the conical hat experience we started on our way to Hoi An. On our way back to the main road, we passed a stream where some men had fishing nets deployed. Also, across the stream was a rice paddy with a water buffalo grazing.
